Description: Ancient people traveling near Alamogordo, New Mexico stopped to carve a pageantry of symbols into the rocks on a jetty surrounded by a sea of sand. A circle surrounded by 23 dots encloses a cross of four right angled wedges. What star does this represent? Are there 23 planets in orbit around it? This hand-carved stone sculpture in American jade is a scale model of the original petroglyph.
